Comet Hale-Bopp, 1997 March 10

This image was obtained with a 205mm lens on 1997 March 10. Kodak RG1000 was exposed for 5 minutes and the camera was guided by a motorized tripod mount. This was shot when the comet was low in the morning sky and the three diagonal dark bands extending from the right to the left are power lines.
